Before the new season officially begins, several Indonesian clubs have already started shaping its visual identity through a fresh run of pre-season shirts.
Persija marked the beginning of its partnership with adidas through a straightforward teamwear design, finished with the Macan Kemayoran Infront. The shirt made its competitive debut in the Piala Presiden, although Persija opened the tournament with a 1-0 defeat to Persebaya.
Persebaya used the club’s 99th-anniversary fixture to introduce a pre-season shirt inspired by classic Bajul Ijo strips. The retro direction gave the release a sense of familiarity, connecting the current squad with a visual identity that has long belonged to Surabaya.
PSIS arrived as the guest for Persebaya’s anniversary match wearing the first release from its renewed partnership with RIORS. The clean construction and sharp fit immediately caught the attention of collectors, proving that a simple silhouette can still make a strong impression when the execution feels right.

Elsewhere, PSMS continued preparations for the new campaign in a pre-season strip supplied by DRX, while Arema introduced two contrasting designs from Etams. A graphic-heavy home shirt carries the louder identity, while the away option takes a more restrained approach through a simpler colour combination.
Pre-season shirts were once treated as temporary pieces made only for preparation matches. This latest wave suggests something different. For Indonesian clubs and collectors alike, they are becoming an early look at the season ahead and, increasingly, releases worth paying attention to in their own right.
