Indonesia started a new chapter in 2026. New coach John Herdman leads the team. At the same time, the Garuda squad also wears a new home kit made by Kelme.
The new jersey made its debut in the FIFA Series tournament. Indonesia played two matches. The first match ended with a strong 4–0 win against St. Kitts and Nevis. In the second match, Indonesia lost 0–1 to Bulgaria.
Even though the results were mixed, the moment was important. It was the first time Indonesia played in the new Kelme home kit.
The jersey keeps the iconic red color that represents courage and pride. On the front, Kelme added a clean white vertical stripe that gives the shirt a modern look.
The design is simple, bold, and easy to recognize on the pitch. The Kelme paw logo sits on the chest together with the Garuda crest, creating a fresh identity for the national team.
The kit is also designed for Indonesia’s hot and humid weather, using lighter materials to help players stay comfortable during matches.
A New Era for Indonesia
Coach John Herdman said the team is not perfect yet, but he believes Indonesia can keep improving. His long term goal is clear. He wants Indonesia to fight for a place at the 2030 World Cup.
The journey has just started.
New coach.
New jersey.
And a Garuda team ready to grow. ⚽🇮🇩
